Being the coffee curious that we are, we wandered around Makati to hunt for good coffee in unexpected places so you won’t have to.

1. Cafe Seventy-Six

   
   As ironic as it may sound, recharging your energy can be more worthwhile in the calm and quiet. So, take your coffee break in this minimalist space found in the midst of the hustle and bustle. If you’re just casually passing or driving by the streets, you would only realize it late that there’s a coffee shop through the glass window. 3. Bayo Atelier

   
   Stepping into the atelier, you’d see different fabrics and textiles and converse with the ladies. After a few minutes of browsing through the pieces and designs, you’d be invited to take a sip if locally-sourced coffee.
